Kiggundu’s paintings are quite figurative, symbolic, very patterned and ethereal with a lot of colour juxtaposition and contrast. His style leans more into abstraction borrowing elements from both abstract and realism. He is highly influenced by the araism technique from West Africa (Nigeria). Kiggundu works on surfaces including canvas and plywood at the moment and is experimenting more material and surfaces as he develops this technique and style.
Kiggundu’s Mural Art concepts are inspired by the environment within which they co-exist.
